Stamford London Cones
Incense Cones | Backflow Cones
Cones (also known as dhoops) are made from a combustible paste of natural ingredients, pressed into a cone mould then turned out to solidify and dry. Their fragrance becomes more intense throughout the burn time, although always remaining smooth and gentle. Even with a similar blend of ingredients, the scent will differ slightly from stick incense as it isn’t being affected by the presence of a bamboo core. Like our incense sticks, our cones are often referred to as direct-burning, as they don’t require a separate heat source.
Stamford London’s Fair Trade dipped incense sticks are hand-made in India. A bamboo reed is dipped into a natural fragrance oil or essential oil to build up the mixture in layers, then left to dry. The range includes timeless classics such as sandalwood and patchouli, alongside more unusual custom-blends and unique fragrances specifically created for the international market, including Exotic, Mystical and Mythical. As well as individual packs, we also produce beautifully boxed gift and variety sets.
Our dipped sticks are usually supplied in hex (hexagonal) packs made from 100% recyclable paper. Hex is one of the most popular styles of incense packaging on the market, providing a protective and space-efficient method of dispatching delicate sticks, as well as visual appeal and instant consumer recognition. Most of our hex sticks are packed in a dual-display unit, which can be positioned upright or horizontally, depending on the shelf space available.

Stamford Aroma Oils
Blended from plant-derived ingredients, then diluted in a carrier oil to create an enticing range of naturally evocative scents
Unlike many brands on the market, our premium products contain a high proportion of essential oil to ensure the fragrance lingers, rather than disappearing in minutes. Typically, a few drops are heated in a bowl of water over a traditional oil burner and tea-light candle, allowing the scent to diffuse through the air for a burn time of around 30 minutes. For a slower and more consistent fragrance hit, an electric essential oil diffuser is a gentler alternative. Stamford aroma oils are sold in 10ml bottles, and all the packaging is 100% recyclable.
